There is no spirituality/love in harming and killing an animal for food

For those that claim that you can take the life of an animal in a spiritual way/kill an animal with love. And for those that claim that uprooting a plant is equivalent to taking the life of an animal.

Plants are not sentient: http://www.cup.columbia.edu/static/marder-francione-debate
There is a moral difference between uprooting a vegetable compared to stabbing a dog. Everyone knows this.

And in any instance you reduce the number of plants that you "kill" by eating a vegan diet, instead of consuming a sentient cow with an interest of living that consumes 10x more plants than you do.

Secondly there is NO love or spirituality in killing an animal with an interest of living and forcefully separating him/her from his/her family.
See also attached image.
Just like there is no love or spirituality in killing a human.

Humans create myths in order to justify our abuse and killing of animals for foods

Speeking of Ancient Greece:
Pytaghoras of Ancient Greece said:
“As long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seeds of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love.”

"I won't allow any kind of fallacy when discussing subjects being serious."
Why do you think that the research that I refererred to is erroneous. Have you studied it?
"Pytaghoras was not the only Greek out there you know? There is a lot more Greek Thinkers and Philosophers out there."

I know Ancient Greece was also heavily influenced by the domestication-slavery-culture. So you will probably quite easily find thinkers from that time, or from any time of our 8000-10000 years old domestication-culture (where there are written records), which both praises eating animal products, justifies it and even do erroneous "scientific studies" which claim to "prove" that animal products are good for you.
You called this quote 'propaganda': " That animals products are healthy for us is a myth, which is propogated by our domestication culture, including the meat-milk-media-medical-political-complex."
Why do you believe this is propaganda?
"Joseph Campbell, when asked the reason for myths by Bill Moyer, said that the main reason for myths and stories is to somehow reconcile our abuse and killing of animals for food. We create enormous rituals with religious significance because I think we feel guilty about confining animals. The worst thing you can do to a being is put them in prison; putting someone in jail is a punishment. These cows are owned. Their sovereignty is stolen from them by human beings so they can have their milk. They are not allowed to live their lives freely in nature and we would all like to be able to live our lives freely. I think there is no need, personally, for ghee to be healthy. Certainly there are many cultures that survive without having ghee. In the fullness of time, hopefully this will be seen to be something we can let go of. I would like to see cows returning to sovereignty again, how they lived for millions of years."

Veganism, spiritual evolution, how to grow spiritually by becoming a vegan (stop hurting animals and taking their purpose)

Hello Jak!
That's wonderful to hear that you want to become a vegan!!!! Anything stopping you from becoming vegan right now?

Veganism is certainly necessary for spiritual evolution. As we sow we will reap. If we want to find our own purpose, we can't steal other individuals purpose.

" but you seem to have the peacefull tone of conversation I easily connect with"

Thanks! Yes, I think being peaceful to everyone is an essential part of our purpose. So many vegans haven't reached this spiritual understanding yet. I was unaware of this for almost 28 years. Becoming vegan has really transformed me in such a great way - including my view of treating everyone with love, compassion, peace and nonviolence.

I like what you say: "I deamed as logical and usefull to my own spirititual evolution, and well basically I would like to 'use' veganism as a physical tool to help further my souls evolution as I feel it is a path in life one must take eventually in their many lives in the universe to gain a unique harmony with the planet, its nature, my personal nature and the nature of the universe itself. (The words nature and universe I see as symbols for something much more intricate)"
I agree!
I highly recommend you to read the book World Peace Diet. It contains so much valuable information about this: http://www.worldpeacediet.org/download.htm
I also recommend Will Tuttles YouTube-channel. It contains good meditations and other good videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmcSLH4kEjQ

So much more to say, but lets start with this.

Let me know what you think!
Well, it is getting late. I will take the dogs out, and then I will go to bed.
Have a wonderful day!!!

We should not steal. So why do we steal the lives and products of animals?

All of the world's spiritual traditions have similar "rules" of moral conduct. Commonly, one of which is a principle of not stealing. We should not take something that is not freely given to us - everyone knows and agrees with this mode of conduct, right?

Then why, and how, do we feel justified in taking things like milk from cows (that was not produced for us, but for baby cows), and snatching those very baby cows away from their mothers to be ruthlessly slaughter and labelled "veal"? What about eggs (again not produced for us, but as a natural process of a reproductive cycle)? What about taking honey, since bees make honey, that's what they do, right? Yes, they make honey for their food, not ours. We steal it, and replace it with a cheap, chemical syrup, just to keep them alive so that they can produce more honey, and when they don't produce enough anymore, like cows, they are mercilessly killed. Why do we participate in this, when we have alternatives, which are kinder and healthier?

What about baby sheep? Why do we steal them from their mothers and celebrate Easter over their miserable, tortured carcasses? What kind of spiritual tradition can possibly encourage such cruel practices?

We participate, not because we enjoy the suffering of others, and not because we believe in our hearts that this is right, but because we have been conditioned since birth to believe that these practices are acceptable. We have become so conditioned by our cultures that we do not even question it. This is how countless atrocities have been committed towards other Beings throughout history: through mass desensitization and brainwashing.

I feel very deeply that we are ready now to question everything. We are ready to stop for a minute, make the connection, and choose what our naturally compassionate hearts long for: loving kindness towards all Beings. We are One. There is no me; there is no you. There is just us.

Namaste. I see you. I honor you. I love you.
