Ahimsa, veganism, spiritual lifestyle, religion, vegan diet and nonviolence

Thanks for your answer dear Farid,
Thanks for considering going vegan!
We really owe this to all beings - that we shouldn’t exploit, harm and kill them.

“ I really need to think about consequences.” Remember also that there are vast  and negative consequences of harm, exploiting and enslaving animals, as all non-vegan choices do. There are only truly positive consequences of making a decision not to harm other beings.

I agree completely. In other words, I agree 100%. That is, I cannot in any way disagree with the idea that a religious tradition that celebrates selfless love is wholly inconsistent with killing and eating animals because we like the taste." Gary Francione

I would like to give some recommendations.
I recommend
the book Eat like you care (http://www.eatlikeyoucarebook.com/ ). After you have read this I recommend:
‘Introduction to Animal Rights: Your Child or the Dog?‘: http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/books/#.UZe5wsp5eWI
As for health, I recommend http://www.drmcdougall.com/video/starch_solution.html and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MKofmjCLYM
(I don’t agree with all claims in these videos, but I agree with the claims about health). Eating a vegan diet is very easy. You can survive and thrive only on potatoes+some vegan source for B12 (http://drmcdougall.com/misc/2007nl/nov/b12.htm ).

“I'm an athlete and a student before I go vegan I have to know good veg and fruit sources of protein and vitamin.“
Except for the above videos, I recommend this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-gQqKzs5Vw ; and http://www.drmcdougall.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=26240

“ in the country I'm living in I suppose it'll be so hard to be a vegan because of wrong cultural manners! I really mean it, you got to be here to understand! “
I really don’t think that whether you live in Europe, North America, or the Middle East makes a big difference. All these countries really have a culture of eating animal products. But whether it is harder or not doesn’t change our moral obligation towards our fellow earthlings - all other sentient beings. Our spiritual purpose on this planet involves this:

“Mahavir taught that “all breathing, existing, living, sentient creatures should not be slain, nor treated with violence, nor abused, nor tormented, nor driven away.”  This is the only moral or spiritual principle that we need to know. If we live by this principle, we will be at peace with ourselves and the world will be at peace. Whatever our religious tradition may be, let us celebrate Mahavir Jayanti 2011 by recommitting ourselves to a simple but profound idea that all may embrace: Ahimsa.”

Veganism, spiritual evolution, how to grow spiritually by becoming a vegan (stop hurting animals and taking their purpose)

Hello Jak!
That's wonderful to hear that you want to become a vegan!!!! Anything stopping you from becoming vegan right now?

Veganism is certainly necessary for spiritual evolution. As we sow we will reap. If we want to find our own purpose, we can't steal other individuals purpose.

" but you seem to have the peacefull tone of conversation I easily connect with"

Thanks! Yes, I think being peaceful to everyone is an essential part of our purpose. So many vegans haven't reached this spiritual understanding yet. I was unaware of this for almost 28 years. Becoming vegan has really transformed me in such a great way - including my view of treating everyone with love, compassion, peace and nonviolence.

I like what you say: "I deamed as logical and usefull to my own spirititual evolution, and well basically I would like to 'use' veganism as a physical tool to help further my souls evolution as I feel it is a path in life one must take eventually in their many lives in the universe to gain a unique harmony with the planet, its nature, my personal nature and the nature of the universe itself. (The words nature and universe I see as symbols for something much more intricate)"
I agree!
I highly recommend you to read the book World Peace Diet. It contains so much valuable information about this: http://www.worldpeacediet.org/download.htm
I also recommend Will Tuttles YouTube-channel. It contains good meditations and other good videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmcSLH4kEjQ

So much more to say, but lets start with this.

Let me know what you think!
Well, it is getting late. I will take the dogs out, and then I will go to bed.
Have a wonderful day!!!
