"If the principle of nonviolence means anything, it means that you cannot justify any killing or suffering for transparently frivolous reasons such as pleasure, amusement, or convenience. And doing something “with compassion” that is not morally justifiable does not change the fact that it’s morally unjustifiable. "

Eating healthy and nutritious-rich compassionate food (i.e. without animal products)

Congratulations!! Well done becoming vegan!

You don't need to eat expensive. You can buy beans, lentils, potatoes, other legumes oats for breakfast, nuts, and lots more, that contain many calories and you will easily become full (except for a variety of fruits and vegetables ). Make sure that you eat a very healthy vegan diet with lots of nutrients.
I recommend this website: www.drfuhrman.com (ignore the  parts that aren't vegan)
Also this website: http://www.tcolincampbell.org/
It is important to eat nutritious and healthy food so that we live longer to help the animals and inspire other people to take care of their health too!!

This Facebook-page is very helpful to learn how to advocate veganism effective and not contra-productive:

Using - including to kill, buy and eat - all animal products [not only fur] is unethical

Then if we are going to be consistent we must boycott each artist that isn't vegan, since they also cause the animals to suffer and get killed buy their eating- and clothes-habits.

I think we should share with the artists why it is unethical to use - including kill, buy and eat - all animal products; and that this is the only efficient way to convince them and awaken their consciousness. Otherwise if they don't understand this, the only difference made is that the animal exploitation will take other forms: http://woodstocksanctuary.org/learn/why-its-unethical-to-eat-animals/

What do you think?

There is no such thing as "humane milk" or "humane diary-industry"

Taking care of a dog is a life-time-commitment, just like taking care of one's children.
If one isn't prepared for this commitment one shouldn't adopt a dog.
There are dogs getting killed each day at a animal shelter that one can save: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.275017085844511.78596.152876678058553&type=3

Cows are looked upon as objects by the farmers - objects that don't mind of getting killed. The small family-farmers will have to sell their male calves to other persons and they will inevitably end up at someone's dining plate :(. This is how cows are treated. The only guarantee and safe-haven for a cow would be at the home of a vegan, but family farmers who eat meat don't have any moral objection of cows getting killed and no incentive to ensure this.
If one's is selling the cow to someone involved in the diary-industry one is supporting and helping to keep the inhumane and life-taking diary-industry alive.
Having a cow should be a life-time-commitment, just like taking care of one's children.
This is only one reason why there is no such thing as "human milk"

Milk industry in Sweden and USA, it we are against violence towards animals we shouldn't kill a cow/hire someone to kill a cow

Jonathan,
The average life-length of a cow in Sweden i 5 years (either they get sick because of all abuse they been through, or they can't produce enough milk for the farmer's greed, because their bodies are getting worn out). Ignoring the pain and the feelings of the cows, they murder the cows when they can't produce any more milk. I understand that many are very disconnected and actually do think that they do the best they can for their animals. It doesn't change reality though.

That the average cow become only 5 year [this is not "vegan propaganda", it is numbers from the milk-industry] shows how abusive the average treatment is and excessive milking is to cows.
An exceptional case (I can't confirm it is true; and they would have been much less abusive to her than what is the normal case) of a cow being alive until the age of 28 year doesn't change the average life length of a cow - not in US and not in Sweden.

Having said this, I know there are farmers or families who are less abusive to their cows, but it doesn't in anyway justify killing their male-calves born (or selling them to someone who will brutally slaughter them), and to use the animal for "our purposes" [milk-products are only for "taste" and "enjoyment", and it causes diseases: http://www.news-medical.net/news/2005/09/12/13120.aspx]. Taking the life of another sentient being is the biggest moral atrocity one can do to any sentient being, and his/her family.

Please awaken your empathy for the billions of animals getting innocently killed just for people's 'taste'

Please see this! Please awaken your empathy for the billions of animals.
They are all individuals. They do all suffer. They do all feel pain. They are all afraid. When they are getting killed.

It is never OK to take someone else's life. It is never okay to take the life of your dog for "taste", "enjoyment", culture or tradition.

It is never OK to take the life of "someone else's" dog for "taste", "enjoyment", culture or tradition.

It is never OK to take the life of a cow or pay someone else to take the life of a cow for "taste", "enjoyment", culture or tradition.

Awaken your empathy <3. The animals - yes not only the dogs and the cats - are REAL individuals with REAL feelings and a REAL life. So please, please treat them as real sentient, feeling, precious individuals, and not as objects.

A religion teaching us to kill or hurt animals => it can't be true/be the Will of a Good Creator.

That's nice!!!
But please remember it can never be good to take the life of an animal - including "kosher animals", like tuna. They are sentient and are suffering when people are killing them.
It is not ethical to take the life of another sentient being (which always causes suffering, and is completely unnecessary) or to cause him/her suffering in any other way - regardless of what any religion tells you:
