is not about limits and restrictions. It is about freeing yourself from the delusion that the suffering and death of others is something that could ever give you happiness or pleasure.

I often hear people, including some vegans, talk about how limiting and restricting being a vegan is. I respectfully disagree. Veganism is not about limits and restrictions. It is about freeing yourself from the delusion that the suffering and death of others is something that could ever give you happiness or pleasure. It is about being able to see that something you never had a right to do in the first place is not something that you *can* sacrifice. It is about getting a blast of clarity and peace in a world that is upside down, terribly confused, and horribly violent. I really don't see veganism as limiting or restricting in any way. On the contrary.
