Sekulära Olmert tycker människor är bisarra som anser att Yehuda och Shomron (Judéen och Samarien) tillhör Israel.

Jerusalem Post skriver:

"Only bizarre people can still stick to the perspective" of the idea of greater Israel, Olmert asserted, adding that he believes that the government will succeed in arriving at an agreement with the Palestinians by the end of this year. [Min markering.]

Olmert also said that current government policy aimed on the one hand to prevent Hamas from taking control of the West Bank, as they had in Gaza, and on the other, to guarantee an increased freedom of movement throughout the West Bank.

"We think [Olmert] is bizarre," responded MK Limor Livnat (Likud). "I think it is bizarre that a prime minister at the end of his way, who is the recipient of envelopes, continues to hold diplomatic negotiations. This whole situation is bizarre."

Likud MK Yuval Steinitz reiterated Livnat's point, asking "Does someone who is under criminal investigation have a mandate to gamble with the future of our country?"
